Finally, after hours of research, i finally got it to work by deleting the nvlddmkm.sys files during the 'expanding windows files' step. I have tried every slot and i have looked at the user manual for compatiable vendors. If i switch the system off then back on it seems to start up just fine. I have since tested both these two ram chips and some extra 1gbs that i had laying around in various configurations and amounts to the point where i think i can It's detecting both dimm 2 gig sticks, just only half of each stick! I'm betting this is what's causing your problem.If you really want to overclock, make sure your CPU and RAM voltages are set high enough to accommodate the higher clock speeds.
