The 6770 won't hold up for much longer in terms of modern games. I think I will have to get the GTX 970 instead.Anyways, this are my current thoughts and reply to you.

One thing that I did personally and is why I recommend it like that, is because I used the integrated graphics processor to record the game (in Xsplit, OBS is still I'm saying that if he had a little bit more money to spend he could get a 6850 and be slightly more future proof. Just to be safe though, i'd say investing in another 8 GB of ram wouldn't be too bad.
