Jun 2, 2007 #7 steve_r18 TS Rookie I am having a similar problem. Select the Intel link. I have RAID floppy which works for F6, loads drivers for RAID/SATA. It would be nice if I could just convert this thing to straight XP. weblink

I've got an ACER 5220 with vista preloaded and as is the norm I'm trying to replace it with XP but I still can't get it to see the HDD. Thanks lot! I do know that if that is set, Windows installer won't see the drive without the AHCI/RAID driver. Crystal, simple and 100% working instructions. nLite will let you bundle updates, set tweaksor automatically remove components from the installation, but that all goes beyond the scope of this article.
